When will my order ship?

Each Nova Mira piece is handcrafted in small batches and made to order in my Brooklyn studio. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your order to be shipped. Thank you for understanding!

Will my freshwater pearls look exactly like the photos?

No two freshwater pearls are exactly alike—that's part of what makes them so special.

Because freshwater pearls are naturally formed, each one will have its own unique shape, size, and subtle variations. While your piece will closely resemble the photos, these natural differences mean your jewelry is truly one of a kind.

How should I care for my jewelry?

To help keep your jewelry looking its best, we recommend a few simple care practices:

  • Remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or using hot tubs.
  • Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreen, and other beauty products.
  • Remove jewelry before exercising or participating in activities that may cause excessive moisture or friction.
  • Store your pieces in a cool, dry place when not being worn, ideally in a jewelry pouch or box.
  • Gently wipe your jewelry with a soft cloth after wearing to remove natural oils and keep it shining.

With a little extra care, your Nova Mira pieces are made to become part of your everyday collection for years to come.

What is your return policy?

Nova Mira happily accepts free U.S. returns on unworn items in their original condition for 30 days after order has been received. 

International returns are also welcome, though customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Once your return has been received, refunds are typically processed within 10 business days.
